Since 2007, Elizabeth and Bruce continually discover and excavate the wisdom and gifts hidden in the sacred ground of their 400-acre private nature reserve called Anam Cara. With spiritually-centered lives, they wish to share the unique beauty, experiences and sanctuary of Anam Cara, Latin for "soul friend".

John O’Donohue’s poems help describe what it's like visiting Anam Cara :
“All you can ever achieve is a sense of your soul. You gain little glimpses of its light, colors, and contours. You feel the inspiration of its possibilities and the wonder of its mysteries.”
“Your soul knows the geography of your destiny. Your soul alone has the map of your future, therefore you can trust this indirect, oblique side of yourself. If you do, it will take you where you need to go, but more important it will teach you a kindness of rhythm in your journey.”
Anam Cara is filled with magic, adventure and beauty. The long and winding foot trails, the star wheel, the animal totem wheel, the walking meditation labyrinth, the flowing streams, the gentle rolling hills, the variety of flora, the towering hardwood and pine trees, the natural wildlife, the sacred burial grounds, the historic mysteries, the peaceful fish-filled 35-acre lake, and the astonishing sunrises and sunsets are just a few of the secrets you’ll find here.
